About me
I'm a scientist and engineer from Santiago, Chile, with a PhD in Fluid Dynamics and Climatology and over 10 years of experience working with data.
My work bridges research and real-world industrial applications by using machine learning, automation and optimization algorithms, and time series prediction to turn complex processes into better operational decisions. I enjoy turning complex problems into simple, beautiful, automated plots.
As a data scientist my approach is to detect patterns and anomalies, based on the physical phenomena, extracting the hidden information within data to forecast trends with high accuracy.
By combining my background in astronomy, fluid dynamics, and climatology with advanced data analytics and cloud tools, my approach is to understand data behavior by making it stop being a black box and become a practical tool to drive innovation and understand the world.
My Services
-
Atmospheric & Climatological Modeling
I develop automated Python pipelines using APIs from cloud services to generate real-time meteorological forecasts and historical climatologies. As the ones you see above 😉.
-
Geospatial & Spatial Data
I apply my astronomical knowledge to process raster, vector, and earth-observation data using QGIS workflows and Python for high-precision spatial analysis.
-
GPU Cluster & Cloud Automation
I build Bash and Python automation frameworks to be applied at GPU clusters or cloud environments optimizing calculation process.
-
Art & Science Outreach
I combine visual arts with science, backed by experience in content creation, public speaking, and media interviews.
